Sowore Foundation Unveils 2025/2026 #ComeToKiribo Youth and Community Festival

THE SOWORE FOUNDATION:

When my father, David Omoremilekun Sowore passed in 2005, I stood before the church at his burial and announced a scholarship in his name.

The reason was because my dad was a teacher and he believed in education to the point that he was teacher to his many kids and of the community he grew up in. What began as a small idea—born from grief, hope, and duty—has today, 21 years later, blossomed into something far greater than we could have imagined.

Empowering Youth Through Education and Community

The Sowore Foundation provides scholarship support to students and delivers vital empowerment programmes for community youths, enabling them to pursue education, build skills, and access meaningful opportunities.
The initiative is designed to create a welcoming, inspiring platform where young people can learn, compete, develop new abilities, and connect with their community, thereby strengthening confidence, discipline, and long-term growth.
