A call to CJN: Stop the abuse of the LPDC for witch-hunting or for favouritism

A call has been made to the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kekere-Ekun, to clean out the aegean stables of the NBA's selective use and abuse of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC).

The call came from the Ovumnte community in Ebonyi State whose land was illegally grabbed from them by certain persons who used the two lawyers including Nkem Okoro, Esq. to perpetuate the injustice.

In a letter to Dr. Jaja, the community made their grievance plain regarding the failure to enforce disciplinary actions against erring members.

The letter reads;

Dear Dr Jaja,

We hope you are doing well.
We read that you are being harassed by Mr. Nkem Okoro and the NBA.
Attached are records of LPDC proceedings indicting Nkem Okoro for forgery and gross misconduct.

The NBA has failed to enforce the directions of the LPDC against Mr. Nkem Okoro.

.                         EXHIBIT 1

Petition No: BB/LPDC/317/2020 was signed and sealed by Mr. Nkemakolam S.C Okoro Esq who falsely claimed that he was acting on behalf of Mr. Fabian Aroh Ajah. (See: Exhibit 1).
