PSNAFSA Mourns Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja

The #Prayer and Support for the Nigerian Armed Forces and other Security Agencies, PSNAFSA, has joined other Nigerians to mourn the shocking passing of Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, the former Chief of Army Staff.
In a press statement signed by Ambassador Mary Abayomi Fatile, the Convener of the group,  PSNAFSA stated that "we are deeply saddened by the passing of former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, a remarkable leader who left an indelible mark on the Nigerian Army in particular and the Military in general. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and the entire Nigerian Army during this difficult time. May his legacy continue to inspire and motivate us all".
Lieutenant General Lagbaja was a shining example of dedication, distinction, and leadership. As the Chief of Army Staff from June 19, 2023, until his passing on November 5, 2024, he demonstrated unwavering commitment to the Nigerian military and the nation . His contributions will forever be etched in our hearts and minds".
Throughout his illustrious career, he held various significant roles across different military units, showcasing his exceptional leadership qualities and professional development. He was a true advocate for the soldiers, always prioritizing their welfare and well-being. 

His tenure witnessed significant strides against insurgents and enemies of the state, demonstrating  his strategic vision and leadership prowess.
