Yoruba Koya rolls out support for LG & Legislative Autonomy... Leadership joins NULGE, NLC, JUSUN, PASAN and others to push for Constitution reforms

In furtherance to the unique strategic alliance and collaboration with the National Union of Local Government Employees Association- NULGE, the Leadership of  Yoruba Ko'Ya Leadership and Training Foundation (YKLTF) led by the President, Otunba Deji Osibogun and the Secretary General, Akogun Kola Onadipe, amongst members of its Oyo State Branch, exhibited solidarity and support for the advocacy and sensitization rally to the Oyo State House of Assembly. 

Receiving the leadership of NULGE and YKLTF in his office, shortly after the rally, which took place with thousands of NULGE, NLC, JUSUN, PASAN delegates from all the six States of SW in attendance, the Oyo State Speaker, Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, assured every stakeholders present, of complete and full support to ensuring that the Local government & Legislative Financial and Administrative Autonomy bill received the full blessing of all the House members, upon presentation from the National Assembly (NASS). 

It is to be noted that similar sensitization rallies are taking place simultaneously in other five zones across the country.

The Speaker also added that with the kind of strategic advocacy put into the passage of these Autonomy bills, the Oyo State as the pace setter in Nigeria, will also rally support of other 35 State Houses of Assembly at their National Conference holding in Ibadan soon.

The Speaker thanked the leadership of YKLTF for endorsing and supporting the Autonomous Bill, as it is the only Reset required for true growth of the people in the 774 LG as the real and practical location where the people reside in Nigeria.
