“If he [Oshiomhole] comes back remorseful and apologetic, we will consider taking him back.”

“Any politics that doesn’t benefit the majority of the people is bad politics. The resources we have in the state is to be used for the benefits of the people of Edo State, not a few politicians.”

“I am into politics to better the lives of Edo people”

“When they say I am a mosquito, I was never worried; I told them that mosquitoes can bite. The bite can cause malaria and if not well-treated, it can kill someone. Those bitten are already on life support but we pray they don’t die.”

“We will not allow anything that will negatively affect Edo people. I will fight with everything to make life better for my people.”

“As a government, our workers welfare is priority. That is why payment of salaries and pensions is non-negotiable. Our goal is to have the best motivated and trained public servants in Nigeria. Consequently, as I promised last year, Edo State will implement the new minimum wage with effect from January, 1, 2020.”

The question going viral is how will Obaseki survive this storm? Is PDP ready to accommodate him? Do Edo people truly want Obaseki back for a second term? Will the people's vote matter or will political machinery be swung against Obaseki?
How will this end for Obaseki?
