One of such young and enterprising Nigerian is Kola Vincent King (popularly called Kola King), the founder of #TheGiantsNetwork.
Kola wants well meaning Nigerians to be aware and help him out of an intellectual property theft quagmire. He has also suffered emotional and psychological trauma due to the never ending cycle of neglect from Google.
In this Exclusive Interview with EagleStrideTV, he narrates his story.
Q) Everyone knows you as Kola King.... Who exactly are you and what is your profession?
A) I am Kola Vincent King, am the Founder/CEO of TheGiantsNetwork ( a social media and business network, first of it kind platform from Nigeria and Africa to the WORLD). I am am Engr and a Techpreneur.

Q) Tell us a little bit about your growing up and how you became a Techpreneur? Education and adventure into tech world
A) I grew up in Lagos Nigeria started school in Lagos , later went to Boarding School ( Unity Secondary School at Owo in Ondo State Nigeria for my secondary School Education. Then went to University of Ado Ekiti for my higher Education and graduated as an Engineer.
I later travelled to Singapore after my graduation and NYSC to further in search of Knowledge and to explore the Information communication and Technology world.
There I got exposed to more advanced Technology
Q) You came up with an innovation for the Nigerian audience before you claim it was hijacked. What is this innovation about and how was it supposed to serve the Nigerian audience particularly the youths?
A) Yes I founded TheGiantsNetwork a social media and business platform as first of it's Kind in Nigeria and Africa to the WORLD.
After I came back to Nigeria from Abroad I started working on the technology to come up with a Social Media platform that can also be like other popular social media platforms around the World.
I created www.thegiantsnetwork.com as the Founder and CEO in 2013.
The Website was Launched 13 September 2013 in Lagos Nigeria at the Sheraton Hotel Ikeja Lagos State in Nigeria .

The Main Focus of the TheGiantsNetwork is to impact into Nigerians , Africans and the World generally through information communication and Technology.
For capacity building and sustainable developments projects like more creative innovation and productive Ideas.
Q) What features did TheGiantsNetwork have that made it special?
A) TheGiantsNetwork is a one Stop communication platform that is interactive and useful for everyone around the world.
It's very user friendly.

Q) How did you lose the security and full access to your website that caused the intellectual property theft?
A) Femi Samuel Akinbinu that was working with me then also had access to the Security of the TheGiantsNetwork tech platform.
The Security of the Work strictly between me Kola King the Founder/ CEO and Femi Samuel Akinbinu official and legally.
Only between me Kola King and Femi Samuel Akinbinu
But Femi Samuel Akinbinu later transferred it to Google in America in Exchange of Financial benefits.
Q) What was F'emi Akinbinu's position in the company and how did you give him full access to the backend of your website without securing it properly? Did he play any role with regards to the development of the website and was there any agreement between TheGiantsNetwork and Femi Akinbinu?
A) Femi Samuel Akinbinu was as a manager in uploading of materials and monitoring the website.
I later gave him a position of Director to encourage him at work.
And he also got 10% of TheGiantsNetwork and this was signed legally and officially
GOOGLE WAS CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY THEFT WAS DETECTED
According to Kola King, a letter was sent to Google via its Nigerian office immediately the intellectual theft was discovered. The letter was acknowledged by James, on Friday, 22nd April, 2016 by 10:40am.
While expecting a meaningful feedback to address the issue, google evaded addressing the pertinent issue and responded with a vague email;
According to King, Google rebranded innovations developed by TheGiantsNetwork as part of its Gemini AI project.
He claims Femi Akinbinu played a key role in the Internet Fraud and Hijack by misrepresenting himself, impersonating company officials, and submitting his personal account details to Google in place of official business accounts tied to Giants International Magazine.
King alleges that the actions resulted in major financial losses and operational setbacks for his platform. He further reported that his email accounts were targeted during the ordeal.
Kola King is demanding $10 million in damages and has initiated legal action against both F'emi Akinbinu and Google.
The case has drawn the attention of Nigerian authorities, with the Nigerian Police, NSCDC , and the Department of State Security (DSS) expected to review the matter amid wider concerns over cybercrime and fraud.
King said he has also raised the issue with authorities in the United States of America and other jurisdictions to broaden the scope of accountability.
That femi Akinbinu is nowhere to be found now, after the Police contacted him, femi is on the run.
According to him, the office of Mr Sundar Pichai the Google CEO was contacted officially and Legally on the case of Internet Fraud and Hijack of Tech product which was Launched successfully in Lagos in Nigeria in 2013 as a Social Media and Business Network.
King stated further that, Google replied after receiving a letter from the organisation's lawyer but yet to do the needful on the RESOLUTION mentioned in the reply to the giantsnetwork legal team.
And online video was done by Kola King on the 1 December 2023, to talk about this international case, upon which Google responded to through email letter to Kola King.
The dispute underscores growing tensions between technology innovators in emerging markets and multinational corporations, raising questions about intellectual property protection and fair business practices.
Legal proceedings are ongoing, and the case is being closely watched for its potential impact on future tech-related disputes.

A banner advertisement from GLO Network was published on TheGiantsNetwork platform with zero revenue reaching the original owner of the website.
OBA OLAJIDE, KABIYESI OF OSI TOWN, AKURE
Oba Olajide the Kabiyesi of OSI Town in Akure Ondo State Nigeria, stood as guarantor for Femi Samuel Akinbinu at the Police station in Akure in Nigeria and promised to produce Femi Akinbinu for the Police at anytime.
Femi Samuel Akinbinu is nowhere to be found at the moment.
Several correspondence were exchanged with White House in relation to this incident
