There seems to be a glimmer of hope for the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, as he continues his consultations with his party (PDP) stalwarts around the country. He enters Lagos state, southwest Nigeria to visit his party elder statesman, Bode George.
Peter Obi has gained political relevance within his party due to his brilliant performance as Anambra state governor. He is deemed to be a strong contender against the opposition, APC.
His counterparts from same party are already considering his ensuing presidential candidacy, all things being equal. Many Nigerians have tipped Peter Obi as the next President for fairness and equity sakes and to placate the southeast region which has been relegated in the scheme of nationhood.
In continuation of his consultation, Mr. Peter Obi was in Lagos State to meets with PDP Elder Statesman chief Bode George.
