Glorious Dawn for PDP Owan West LG, Edo State as Ahonsi Louis Kayode Vie for LGA Chairmanship Seat

Local government is a generic term for the lowest tiers of public administration within a particular sovereign state.  For any political juggernaaut to succeed at the national level, their local impact must be felt at the grassroots, which is the bedrock of politics.
This is the premise on which Ahonsi Louis Kayode decided to lay the solid foundation for his political adventure and career in Owan West Local Government area of Edo state.  Ahonsi Kayode hails from Ukhuse-Oke, Luleha in Edo state.  His father is a teacher while his mother is a pharmacist.  A vibrant, energetic, visionary and industrious youth, Kayode moved back to his homebase in Owan West local government with the sole intent of influencing the area economically.  It is indeed his litmus test of how governance can and should work for the people, particularly from the local government level.
Kayode is in his late 30's, intellectually armed and well educated as a computer scientist.  Within two years of moving back to his base in Edo state, he succeeded in tranforming the economy of the region in the area of agriculture, hospitality, lumbering and real estate.  Adding value to the life of his immediate community is what drives his being.

Ahonsi Louis Kayode owns a large Cassava farm in Ozalla, plantain farm in in same location which is situated in ward 1 of Owan West.  His maize farm in Ukhuse ward 6.  A massive sawmill tends to his timber business.  A large expanse of oil palm farm is situated in Abviosi, ward 5 of Owan west.

While people still grappled with these achievements, he decided to morph the night life of his community by establishing a nightclub which added spice and grandeur to the nocturnal life of indigenes of the community as well as neighbouring towns.  The night club and lounge in ward 10 is the first standard club in the entire Owan west and East and a major source of attraction which turned the community to a beehive of impactful social activities.

His realtor (real estate) business is also thriving magnificently.  Folks have applauded his achievements within two years.  The dramatic turnaround is like abracadabra and his direct impact on employment has revamped the once depraved area, turning it to an eldorado of befitting rendezvouz for inhabitants of the region.

His political journey is replete with a plethora of expedition to fulfill Governor Obaseki's mission in Owan West.  He has a general acceptance amongst the youths of his local government.  He held the position of PDP security chairman during Obaseki 2020 re-election bid.  He was able to deploy the security architecture to ward off hoodlums deployed to scuttle the electoral process and this gave the party the needed victory in Owan West (the only LGA won in Edo north).

Establishing the Owan west Youth foundation under Hon. Frank Ilaboya Administration gave him the opportunity to galvanize the youth strata of his community for a positive end.  His sacrifice of financial input to ensure that governance reaches his community is an obvious testimony of his servant-leader approach to governance at the grassroots.
Ahonsi Louis Kayode has declared his intention to the leaders of the PDP across the 11 wards in Owan west.  His people believe that if he is supported to get to the elm of affairs at the local government, it will be a new lease of life for the indigenes of the community.
"It is time to choose right to enjoy the dividends of democracy"
