The founder and general overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo has generated a lot of ranting online because of his twitter message on tithing. 
According to the bishop, "Tithing is an inescapable covenant obligation. Prosperity not just wealth is impossible without tithing because when you're not paying your tithe, you're under a financial curse"

From the bishop's statement, he seemed to imply that everyone can be wealthy but prosperity is reserved for those who pay tithes. Probably he will later distinguish between prosperity and wealth.
